Hi! I need to change the delivery address for tomorrow’s order.
Absolutely. I’ve found it—what’s the new address?

Perfect, it’s 18 Orchard Lane. Thank you!

An illustrative work queue—not a promise of the Cloud roadmap.

Code should not be a hostage to hosting.

Two ways in

You choose the operating model.

The software and the service are intentionally separate. Pick the path that fits your team, then change it when your needs do.

The work between messages

Less “who has this?”
More clear next steps.

01

Keep context in the handoff

Assignments, notes, and conversation history make a customer’s next message legible to the next teammate.

02

Make a shared queue feel owned

Use inbox views and roles to give people a focused slice of work without losing the wider team picture.

03

Stay close to the system

Self-hosting keeps the architecture inspectable. A future Cloud option is for teams that value the same workflow without operating it.

Hosted, eventually

A real person may use the aggregate signal to plan the hosted offering. First, we need to know the address belongs to you.

Want us to run it for you?

Join the waitlist for the planned managed cloud version. The project stays open source; this is only for people who would rather not operate the stack themselves.

We will send one confirmation email. No account, payment, or launch date is implied.

Straight answers

Before you join.

Is WATeamInbox open source?

Yes. The repository is published under the MIT License, and self-hosting remains a first-class path. The Cloud waitlist does not gate the code.

What am I signing up for?

Only updates about the planned WATeamInbox Cloud service. You will receive a confirmation email first; confirming does not create a product account or commit you to payment.

Can I run it myself now?

Yes. Start with the repository and the self-hosted deployment guide. As with any beta software, review the infrastructure, data handling, backups, and WhatsApp account risks before production use.

Is this an official WhatsApp product?

No. WATeamInbox is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
